Breakfast and After School Clubs

St Francis Wraparound Care (After School Club and Breakfast Club) aims to offer children and parents quality care in a safe, stimulating and friendly environment in which the children’s personal, social and educational development can flourish.

Our Wraparound provision is registered for up to 32 children (after school) and 21 children (before school) aged from 4 – 11 years old with a ratio of 8 children to every member of staff. It is based in St Francis Church next door to St Francis CE Primary School, Chandlers Ford.  

Breakfast Club:

Children can attend Breakfast Club from 7.35 am.  At the end of the Breakfast Club session, they will be escorted to school by the Breakfast Club staff in readiness for the start of the school day.   

Should you wish your child to be served breakfast, please ensure that they arrive at the Club by 8.15am.  We offer a selection of cereals, toast, pancakes, brioche, hot chocolate, etc.

After School Club:

Children attending the After School Club will be collected by the After School Club staff from school and escorted across to the Church at 3.25pm.  Parents will need to collect their children by 5.55pm from the Church at the very latest.  The Club is not insured to care for your children after this time.  If an emergency arises, such as a car break down which may delay you, please telephone the Club Leader immediately to let her know what alternative arrangements you have put in place for the collection of your child.

The children will be served a light afternoon tea, which could include fruit, toast, bread, ham, cheeses, etc.

The Clubs are directly run by St Francis CE Primary School.  Therefore, the Clubs follow the same general principles/policies and are accountable to the School Governors.

Cost:

The cost of a Breakfast Club session is £6.

The cost of an After School Club session is £12 per child.

The Clubs are not open on School Closure days or School Holidays.

Payments:

Termly payment requests will be made via Scopay. Payment should be made via Scopay or with childcare vouchers.  Payments can be made termly or monthly with full payment received by two weeks before the end of that term.  If payment is not received, then the place will be withdrawn and offered to the next child on the waiting list.  The school is unable to offer reductions for siblings attending the Clubs. If you pay by childcare voucher, please inform the school of the provider and any payment reference so we can locate your payment.
